Dean Transportation and Trenton Public Schools recently introduced six electric buses as part of a sustainability initiative powered by a partnership with DTE Energy.
To enhance learning, auto shop students from Trenton High School participated in a hands-on field trip where they learned about the buses’ electric propulsion systems, battery technology and operational differences from traditional vehicles. This visit helped students connect classroom concepts to real-world applications, preparing them for careers in an evolving automotive industry.
